Stockholm, March 31, 2011
INVISIO (IVSO) has received an order from a European law enforcement special force. The order is for the headset INVISIO M3H with hearing protection, which will be used with an INVISIO PTT solution (Push to Talk). The order value is approximately SEK 1.3 m, and the products will be delivered during the second quarter of 2011.
– It is pleasing that more law enforcement organisations chooses INVISIO’s communications solutions and that we see an increased need of hearing protection, which our headsets offer, says Lars Højgård Hansen, CEO INVISIO Communications.
The order from the European law enforcement special force is for a number of the headset INVISIO M3h, which has both the patented technology INVISIO Bone Conduction and hearing protection, with a PTT solution also from INVISIO. INVISIO’s headsets use the technology Bone Conduction that doesn’t use a traditional microphone but instead picks up vibrations straight from the jaw bone, which enable clear and undisrupted communication in demanding and extreme environments.
Efficient communication is mission critical in many situations for both public safety and military organizations, which often work in extreme situations and environments. INVISIO’s headsets enable this, and with INVISIO M3h there is also protection from damaging high noises that can cause tinnitus and hearing loss.
