INVISIO Communications wins prestigious Danish engineering prize

INVISIO Communications and the communication system INVISIO X50 with the
headset INVISIO X6, has won the prestigious Product Prize 2010 by the Danish
magazine Engineering Weekly (Ingeniørens produktpris 2010). 
INVISIO's communication system X50, with the headset INVISIO X6, was the winner
in the category “products for end-users”.

The communication system INVISIO X50 consists of the intelligent control unit
X50 and the headset INVISIO X6, which is the world's first individually
customized dual-digital headset with the patented INVISIO Bone Conduction
technology and certified hearing protection. INVISIO X6 is connected to X50
Control Unit that combined with the headset offers electronic hear-thru with
situational awareness, which replicates and if necessary amplifies sounds from
the surrounding environment to give the user a clear sense of the surroundings.
The system also offers protection against acoustic shocks - very high and
harmful impulse noises. The system is for use with 2-way radios and intercom
systems.
