About INVISIO® Bone conduction technology:
The INVISIO® technology is based on an earplug (10–12 mm) intended to be fastened in the outer ear. This earplug contains both a speaker and a microphone. Speech sound is transferred via the users jawbone and screens out airborne audio signals, which ensures a direct transfer of the users voice despite other external ambient sound. When people talk, speech vibrations are generated in the throat and vocal cords. These vibrations are transferred through bone and tissue. This especially applies to the jawbone, which passes near the front part of the outer ear, produces a strong transfer and transfers a broader spectrum of sound than if the signal were generated from the throat. The technology is particularly superior for communication in very noisy and difficult sound environments.
